River Song Waldorf School Information

WHAT WE DO River Song Waldorf School is a play-based preschool serving children ages 2.5 - 5 years old in Fort Collins, CO. HOW WE DO IT With one of the lowest teacher-to-student ratios in the region (7:1), we practice relationship-based care-giving in a media-free, home-like setting that honors children and nurtures their whole development — head, hands and heart. Our school is built around children, families and teachers committed to creative outdoor play (rain, snow, or shine), natural toys, organic food, and mindful media experiences. We also practice the "Three R’s" of Waldorf education -- rhythm, ritual and repetition -- as we enjoy our days filled with walks and play-time in safe natural areas, singing, storytelling, baking, watercolor painting, working on developmentally appropriate handcrafts, and celebrating in circle games. We offer full day and half day programs, two, three, and five days a week. We proudly welcome families from all backgrounds and offer tuition assistance and childcare scholarships.
