Art is our passion. We are dedicated to offering the most exceptional and beautiful works of fine art, craft, and design for the home and wardrobe. We are equally committed to supporting the livelihoods of the celebrated North American artists who create this work.
Founded as The Guild as an art publishing company in 1985, Artful Home today offers art buyers more than 18,000 original works of art direct from the studios of 1,200 leading artists and designers.
We are passionate about artist-made and artist-designed work for the home and wardrobe. We love knowing that each piece has been carefully crafted or designed by a talented artist. We appreciate the subtle variations that make each handmade or small-batch piece completely unique. We carefully curate our collection to ensure that the pieces we offer are beautifully crafted with great creativity, skill, and attention to detail.
The Clay Studio was founded in 1974 as an artist collective. We have a proud legacy of presenting international programs, hosting three national clay conferences, and serving local artists, students, children, and adults. The organization has worked to attain a strong local, national, and international reputation in the field of ceramic arts programming.
The Clay Studio has a budget of $2 million, of which 50% is contributed income. We are organized in the following six business units: Consignment Shop, Gallery, Studio Rental Program, Ceramics School, Claymobile, and Artist Residency. In late 2016, we launched a capital campaign, and have begun to secure the lead gifts.
