River City Workwear Information

At RiverCity Workwear we understand that our customers come first. They need quality products and we intend to provide them. By listening and focusing on our customers needs we have been able to offer the right products and add new services that help our clients get the job done. Founded in 2004, RiverCity Workwear LLC set up operations in 1500 square feet of retail space in Sellersburg, Indiana with only three fulltime employees. At this time the core business simply consisted of work apparel offerings aimed at both the business and the individual consumer (items included coveralls, bibs, pants, coats, hats, belts, and gloves). As our relationships with our customer base matured, we began to field new requests for custom screen print and embroidered corporate apparel. This work was initially subcontracted out, but the quality of the workmanship did not come close meeting our high standards. It was at this point in 2005 we decided to integrate the process internally and invest in screen print and embroidery equipment, as well as acquiring short term office space in addition to our retail location. Through persistence and hard work in this new product offering we were able to grow considerably by the end of 2005. Our company had reached the enviable position in the industry to become large enough to buy direct from most manufacturers, positively affecting our bottomline, while still being nimble enough to stay customer focused and driven. Later in the year we purchased our first delivery truck, allowing us to make local deliveries and increase much desired face time with our clients. After a few years of operating at capacity, the decision was made in 2009 to increase our footprint and rebrand our corporate image. We purchased a 5000 square foot building in the New Albany Industrial Park (with land to expand) and chose it as the new site for RiverCity Workwear's new headquarters, eventually relocating our offices, screen printing and embroidery services, and renovating the facility to also include a new corporate showroom.
