Rival Insulation, LLC. is a full service mechanical insulation contractor. Rival uses all union labor and is headquartered in Ferndale, Michigan. Rival has found a niche where it can be large enough to perform on the big jobs and small enough to provide the best service in the industry. Rival has the unique opportunity to provide the industry with a company that is complete with superior technical service and financial savvy. Rival is currently being run by its founding members. Christopher Tremberth is co-founder and CEO of Rival Insulation, LLC. Chris opened Rival along with Steve Ayris in 2011. Chris is responsible for all of the technical day to day operations of the business. Chris performs the quantity take-offs, provides detailed estimates and supervises all on-going projects. Chris is also responsible for forecasting and sales. Prior to starting Rival, Chris has worked in the mechanical insulation industry since 1999. Chris has worked for both local and national insulation companies. Chris has a Bachelor of Science in Engineering from Michigan State University. Chris also has studied Business at Baker College. Stephen Ayris is co-founder of Rival Insulation, LLC. Starting Rival in early 2011, with Chris Tremberth, Steve was responsible for the company's accounting, financial reporting, treasury, budgeting, planning, and other administrative functions. Prior to joining Chris in this venture, Steve was a manager at Chrysler in the MOPAR Division in International Finance. Starting as a union worker in local 1248, he worked his way through various management and leadership positions within Chrysler prior to taking a buyout in 2009. After leaving Chrysler, Steve became the Controller for Pro-Line Asphalt Paving Corporation, responsible for managing Pro-Line's external/internal reporting, cash, and tax matters.
