Rithium Information

With a strong background in embedded systems and software engineering, our goal is to inspire and engage the next generation of Engineers. We are concerned that the recent focus on coding websites as an approach to learning is too restricting, and instead feel that it is much more rewarding to take a practical, engineering approach by making computers do exciting- and often silly- things. This approach helps us to engage participants by making the learning fun, and also lets us slip in concepts from other STEM subjects, for instance, conversion of values read from a temperature sensor to actual values, how a capacitive sensor works, and just what exactly an actuator is.
