New Hope Community is a not-for-profit human services organization that, for over 50 years, has been providing supports for individuals with intellectual and other developmental disabilities. Established in 1975 to serve as a nurturing and caring alternative to large institutions that were found to have violated the most basic human rights and conditions, New Hope Community has become recognized as a leading provider in the human services field. In January 2020, New Hope Community merged with Select Human Services, Inc. (SHS) of Pleasantville, NY, a not-for-profit voluntary agency providing services in Westchester, Putnam, and Rockland Counties. New Hope Community’s breadth of services include clinical and nursing care, residential services, day programming, community habilitation, self-direction, support brokerage, service navigators, education, recreation and leisure activities, a robustly supported employment program, summer programs for youths, and so much more. New Hope Community has always maintained a person-centered approach toward enhancing the lives of people with disabilities and actively advocates for individual choice in a person’s efforts to live, work, and participate fully in his or her community. New Hope Community and SHS combined provide services to over 1,100 people and employ more than 1,370 staff.

Faith in Action, formerly known as PICO National Network, is a national network of faith-based community organizations working to create innovative solutions to problems facing urban, suburban and rural communities. Since 1972, Faith in Action has successfully worked to increase access to health care, improve public schools, make neighborhoods safer, build affordable housing, redevelop communities and revitalize democracy. Today, Faith in Action has 44 affiliated federations and 8 statewide networks working in 150 cities and towns and 17 states. More than one million families and one thousand congregations from 40 different denominations and faiths participate in Faith in Action. Together we are lifting up a new vision for America that unites people across region, race, class, and religion.

The mission of Peaceful Paths is to save lives and create change. Peaceful Paths is the certified domestic violence center that serves survivors of domestic violence in Alachua, Bradford, and Union counties in Florida. Peaceful Paths provides a wide range of services including emergency shelter, 24-hour helpline, victim advocacy, children’s programming, education and training, crisis counseling and support groups, community awareness and intervention, and violence prevention programs. Peaceful Paths is a member of the Florida Coalition Against Domestic Violence (FCADV). Peaceful Paths currently has 42 employees that work together to further the mission of ending domestic violence. The organization is governed by a Board of Directors that is made up of local community citizens who volunteer their time to help oversee the fiscal health, community support, and general well-being of the agency.
