Rippling Birch Photography was founded by David and Meliss Haeckel. David is an avid photographer of wildlife and scenery. We chose the name Rippling Birch Photography for 3 reasons: 1) Rippling represents water. David grew up in Hawaii and Meliss grew up in New England. 2) Birch represents nature and our favorite tree which we have always had planted in any of our yards, and 3) it represents a Ripple Effect, which we like to think is symbolic of the positive impact, emotions and connection to all living things that our imagery shares.
