TruTranscripts has been a leading provider for over 25 years of professional transcription services to the media, financial and pharma/medical industries. We started in a small one room office in New York's Flatiron Building and as our client base grew, so did our need for greater accommodations. With a distinct understanding of our client's needs and the changes that were taking place in the industry, TruTranscripts developed the software and technology to meet those needs in addition to other innovations. We were the first transcription company to create time coded transcripts from VHS tapes with time code window burn-ins. We were also the first transcription company to record teleconferences with time code signal and to convert finished transcripts from straight boilerplate text to the software platform of our client's choice. In December of 2015, TruTranscripts was acquired by Celerity Solutions Group, LLC, a clinical documentation outsource partner that provides solutions for medical transcription, management consulting and information technology implementation to hospitals and clinics nationwide. For the past 20 years, CEO Dara Tribelhorn and her team's corporate mission has been to become a leading provider of transcription services and expand past their extensive medical based background. The acquisition of TruTranscripts brings Celerity Solutions Group one step closer to accomplishing this goal, including building a stronger presence in the Northeast, securing their national footprint.
