Riello Ltd is the latest business to join the Woodlands Business Champions Club. Riello has donated £1,000 to the charity which is raising money for the Macmillan Woodlands Centre Appeal. The company, which has previously donated more than £2,000 to the appeal, raised the money through various initiatives, including sending e-cards instead of Christmas cards in the post. Paul Sharp, sales and marketing director, said: "Riello has chosen to support the Woodlands Centre and Macmillan, as cancer support is very close to our hearts. Unfortunately at some point all families have experience of cancer in some form or other. Riello is pleased to support this extremely worthwhile cause, that does such good work within our local community." The new centre will increase the number of chemotherapy stations from nine to 15 and provide two single rooms, and make is easier for people who are currently travelling further afield for treatment. Macmillan Cancer Support is looking for 100 local businesses to pledge £1,000 each to the Macmillan Woodlands Centre Appeal. Companies who pledge support will receive coverage in The Hunts Post, both online and in print, social media coverage from Macmillan and a permanent tribute to their contribution in the new centre when it opens later this year.
