RMI’s quality standards as well as it’s commitment to honesty and integrity are the basis for maintaining positive supplier-customer relationships that will enable our growth. Brief History RMI is a job shop that began business and filed for incorporation in July 2004. Our machinists have a minimum of 30 years of experience in the machining field. This minority and woman-owned, small business operates out of Carlsbad, CA. In the past few years, RMI has primarily manufactured precision parts for the aerospace (e.g. space shuttle, B1 Bomber and commercial aircraft), food service and pharmaceutical industries. RMI concentrates on short run productions and prototypes. Services and Solutions RMI is a computer-aided, precision machine shop. We are experienced with AutoCAD, Featurecam, SurfCam, MasterCAM and SolidWorks and can accept .IGS files. Our equipment includes 4-Axis CNC Mills and CNC Lathes (20” swing capacity). We also offer small machine assembly and welding (TIG/MIG) capabilities.
