Ridge View Echo Information

Ridge View Echo is the independent, nonpartisan, non-profit news source serving Blairstown, Frelinghuysen, Hardwick, Knowlton and other communities in Northwestern New Jersey. In May 2021, we were awarded a grant by the New Jersey Civic Information Consortium (NJCIC), a non-profit created by the State of New Jersey to grow access to local news and information. The Ridge View Echo was born. We are a group of local folks, some long-timers and some new to the area. Our quest is to provide accurate and unbiased news on local government, school board and community affairs. We believe that reliable information does and will continue to result in more community involvement. Prior to our inception, our community had been without a dedicated news source for over 20 years. We seek to fill that gap and provide reliable, balanced news to the region while highlighting the businesses, events and people that make our area such a great place to live. We seek sustainability and assure a lasting benefit to our readers. Published bi-weekly, our readers can find us on our website as well as through our newsletter digest and social media.
