Richard & Co Architecture Information

Architecture (RCA) was established in Saint John, NB, as a practice dedicated to projects honest to community, heritage, and environment. We undertake institutional, commercial, and residential projects throughout New Brunswick and Nova Scotia. RCA specializes in the adaptive re-use, renovation and restoration of existing buildings. Our projects, whether entirely new construction or building off of existing architecture, are responsive to the community and environmental context. We build in context, creating lasting designs with a firm sense of place with creative responses to facility program requirements. Principle architect, Michael Richard loves basketball and is committed to environment and community. A founding member of the Western Beaches Preservation Society, and the Atlantic Coastal Action Program, past president of the Architect's Association of NB, and past president of the NB Public Libraries Board. Currently, Vice President of the New Brunswick Public Libraries Foundation and plays trumpet with the St. Mary's Band.
