Revolving Water Fund Information

The Revolving Water Fund, an i2 Capital Company, is a Conservation Finance pay-for-success vehicle designed to provide revolving private funding to watershed scale conservation efforts. Launched in 2017 with funding from i2 Capital and the NRCS Conservation Innovation Grant program, the Revolving Water Fund endeavors to create an economic unit of value (Environmental Impact Unit) that quantifies farm-based conservation practices and translates such conservation values into mechanisms for MS4 compliance and water company cost savings. The EIU will form the basis for conservation transactions that maximize conservation values and minimize compliance and operating costs.
