REUSE Foundation Information

REUSE Foundation is a charitable organisation committed to preventing plastic waste by advancing practical, scalable reuse solutions that avoid the need for ever rising plastic demand. Plastic recycling is failing, with just 9% of plastic waste recycled globally in 2019 (OECD) and with it being on track to reach only 17% by 2060. The vast majority of plastic ends up in landfills, is incinerated, or leaks into the environment. We believe the way forward is reuse. Too often overlooked, reuse systems have the potential to quickly and materially make a difference and merit attention and investment. REUSE Foundation was established to drive this change by serving as a trusted source of knowledge, funding, and advocacy for reuse initiatives.
