ReTweed is an award winning social enterprise based in Eyemouth, in the Scottish Borders, providing training, skills, employment and community for women. We run craft, technology and design courses teaching women how to use a sewing machine and produce unique artisan goods (such as soft furnishings, crafts, and fashion) through the medium of innovative upcycling of textiles. ReTweed aims to inspire a new generation of thinking and innovation around upcycling as a creative art form in fashion and enterprise while resurrecting the Borders heritage for fashion and textiles putting the area back on the map. Providing routes into education and employment for women and changing lives.
