Return On Science is a national research commercialisation programme, focused on bringing new research to market from universities, research institutions, and private companies. We offer a broad range of services including: A full commercialisation programme Investors and entrepreneurs Industry connectivity and engagement Top-tier expert panel advice Return On Science is a new programme that aims to enhance science commercialisation projects across all of New Zealand. At its core, Return On Science is a suite of collaborative commercialisation services, investment tools, and world-class expertise, provided principally by Auckland UniServices Ltd. and delivered in conjunction with technology incubators throughout New Zealand. We resource the strategic guidance of research projects, and help to get those projects in front of relevant expertise very early in the project’s life cycle. The Investment Committee is the central portfolio management tool for Return On Science, and makes recommendations to customers and the Ministry of Business, Innovation and Employment (MBIE) on project milestones, funding, and development. Each committee’s membership is sourced from a significant network of leading national and international industry experts, advisors, venture capitalists and commercial R&D specialists.
