ResourceWest Information

ResourceWest, a responsive community-based organization, assists people and strengthens the west metro community through collaborative programs and connections to resources. ResourceWest makes over 9,000 resource connections with 4 employees. Our base of 350 community volunteers is vital to the success of our mission. We make connections annually between people and resources like food banks, shelters, nonprofits, government services, resources for elderly parents, health resources and more. Best known for our annual Back-to-School, Winter Warm Wear, and Toy Chest programs, individuals can also find one-to-one support through the Project Starfish program and the CTC. ResourceWest serves individuals and families living in the west metro community. ResourceWest staff and volunteers support community building through respectful listening of the needs of people in the west metro community and working collaboratively to address these needs. ResourceWest does not charge for its services, but does welcome donations and volunteers. Our volunteers and donors keep our doors open and programs running. Without this support, ResourceWest would not be able to continue to provide these vital community services. Our daily mission is to connect people with the needed resources and we pride ourselves on not duplicating services, but collaborating and partnering with other agencies to refer people to their services. ResourceWest remains the “place to go” if one has a question or problem.
