Resort Building Group Information

The Resort Building Group is a conglomeration of companies in Europe, Asia and Pacific, that have the mission to develop and construct hotel-resorts on remote and extreme weather locations using prefabricated products and materials. Basically we do the design and engineering of our products in Europe and Asia, manufacturing in China and marketing & sales in Asia. The interior design and finishing is done locally in the sales-region, such as in Fiji, Australia, Middle East and Africa. We offer a range of products, such as prefabricated resort-bungalows, office buildings, restaurant-kitchen units, warehouses, solar energy systems, infrastructure materials and construction machinery. We offer onsite assembly and post-construction maintenance. In cooperation with local designers, engineers and builders - our prefab products will give resort developers some big savings:reduced construction cost, time and riskreduced operation costs (no fuel bills and less logistics)low maintenance and reduced insurance costsWe are building a new factory in Shanghai (Pudong) where we will manufacture a range of very innovative products - Modular Zero-Energy Resort Bungalows & Units - based on passive design and able to produce and store, besides its own cooling or heating (thermal energy), all the electric power needed for normal 48 hour resort-hotel operation in remote (off-grid) situations. The bungalows will be certified and engineered according to the latest Australian, US and European Building Codes. The prefabricated bungalows are designed for remote tropical area's - such as island resorts, fit to accommodate extreme wind-loads (cyclone-5) and hot humid climate conditions, while offering 5-star comfort and luxury - maintaining an interior climate of 24 Celsius at 45% RH throughout the day. For this we cooperate with a Chinese engineering partner (and his team) that has over 10 year of working-experience in building Modular housing for Australian Mining companies (BHP/BlueScope). We have developed a range of bungalows for that purpose, and although modular - we are flexible to other sizes, layouts and (interior and exterior) designs.
