Resident Doctors of Canada (RDoC) is a national non-profit organization that represents the medical education interests of Canada’s 10,000 + resident doctors. RDoC’s mission is to champion healthier ways for resident physicians to learn and work. In this way we contribute to an improved medical culture where healthy residents are fulfilled physicians contributing to a better healthcare system for all. RDoC’s members are the professional resident associations that represent the regional interests of resident doctors primarily through contract negotiations and the enforcement of collective agreements. Collectively, through their membership with RDoC, these organizations represent the national medical education interests of all residents. RDoC is forward-thinking, solutions-focussed, equity-driven and standard-setting. We work with national partners, bringing a solutions-focussed mindset to the table where discussions that impact the medical education of residents take place.
