At RESiLICON, we are committed to securing Europe’s future by sustainably producing ultra-pure polysilicon with a strong value proposition for solar, semiconductors and batteries. Europe urgently needs substantial volumes of polysilicon to support the rapid growth of these sectors. In fact, approximately 140,000 tons of polysilicon will be needed each year, requiring the construction of four to five large-scale polysilicon plants. To meet this demand, Europe must invest in sustainable, reliable, and high-quality polysilicon production. Our planned facility in Groningen, the Netherlands, will deliver best-in-class polysilicon production powered by renewable energy, making it one of the world’s most energy-efficient plants and a cornerstone for Europe’s industrial resilience. We are proud of the impact this initiative can have, not only for Europe’s industrial resilience, but also for our investors, customers, and the Province of Groningen. We believe our products will unlock critical advantages for Europe’s energy and technology future, such as artificial intelligence, data centres, and the defence industry. Born out of the supply chain vulnerabilities exposed during the COVID-19 pandemic, RESiLICON was founded to support the EU industry and strengthen Europe’s self-reliance in critical raw materials. We are committed to building a stable and future-ready foundation for Europe’s energy transition and technological growth. With our feasibility study now complete, we’re entering the basic engineering phase, a key milestone in bringing our vision to life.
