Located in the center of the city, our multi functional space combines a venue for events with an interior designed by contemporary Georgian architects and a sampling of two distinct concepts of delicious Georgian cuisine: Restaurant Republic and Republic 24 . The historic site combined with a modern design building, a beautiful terrace overlooking the city, an authors menu, monthly concerts featuring world-renowned DJs and artists make republic a prime and favorite place for guests. The history of the place dates back to 1983, when architect O. Kalandarishvilis concrete waves, which remained the only component of a large-scale architectural project that was not completed in the 1980s, were turned into a parade ground by the Soviet government. From that time on, the peoples name-calling Andropovs Ears (Yuri Andropov, a Soviet politician and secretary general of the NSC) remained where the tribune was held. In the same square was the hotel Iveria the best hotel in Georgia. As a result of the dismantling of the building in 2005, the Republic Square was renamed the Rose Revolution Square to commemorate the events of November 2003, and on May 25, 2018, to mark the 100th anniversary of the establishment of the Democratic Republic of Georgia, the square was called the First Republic Square
