Established in 2007 by the adventurous Josh Cox, Reptile Encounters slithers, scurries, and skitters its way into classrooms, igniting a passion for Australian wildlife that's as infectious as it is educational. With a founder fueled by a lifelong fascination with the natural world and a degree in Medical Science from LaTrobe University, Reptile Encounters isn't your average critter company. We're a team of passionate educators, armed with scales, feathers, and fur, on a mission to be a voice for those that don’t have one. We bring the beauty and biodiversity of our native fauna directly to the fingertips of students across the K-12 spectrum. Having earned a spot as a finalist in the Australian Small Business Champion awards of 2024, our dedication to excellence is evident. For the past seventeen years, our programs have set the gold standard in wildlife education, seamlessly blending enlightenment with engagement in a manner that captivates hearts and minds alike.
