Renovo String Orchestra is dedicated to presenting some of the most prominent and moving string works by composers throughout the eras. By creating exciting and memorable performances, we strive to make string repertoire accessible and engaging to audiences across the Chicago land area. Our Mission is to promote the arts by: 1. Engaging & educating new audiences and communities through string orchestral repertoire and its variations 2. Developing innovative forms and styles of programming 3. Serving as a more mobile organization to better serve communities without significant access to the arts. 4. Promote leadership in all areas of the organization. Chicago's own String Orchestra launches its second season, Neo-Music, an exploration of traditional pieces and their revisited forms by more modern composers. Works by Stravinsky, Bach, Bartok and Williams.
