RECC provides a mediation service to help Code Members resolve complaints from consumers. Once a complaint is registered it will be allocated to a case handler who will seek to broker an agreement between both parties. If they are unable to do this the complaint can be referred free of charge to an independent conciliation service provider, and if the complaint has still not been resolved the complaint can be forwarded to a low-cost independent arbitration service as an alternative to going to court.
