REMRED Technology Development Ltd. has become one of the leading small satellite developers in the Central and Eastern European region and Hungary's largest contracted partner of the European Space Agency (ESA). Backed by significant space engineering experience, the company provides comprehensive solutions ranging from satellite system development to the manufacturing of space weather and space radiation monitoring equipment. The primary mission of REMRED Ltd. is to develop, test and adopt technologies and techniques for space applications for national and foreign industrial users. The company provides specific space industrial services, like vibration and T-VAC testing of small space equipment according to ECSS, cleanroom (ISO7) soldering and assembly, space engineering consultancy and detailed design development of small space equipment in the field of mechanics, electronics and related software. The company's international standing will be further strengthened by the opening of the REMTECH Space Industry Center in 2026, a state-of-the-art manufacturing and development facility designed to meet the growing demands of the global space industry. The new technology and manufacturing center, named REMTECH, will be dedicated to the development, manufacturing, assembly, integration, and testing of satellites weighing up to 650 kilograms intended for low Earth orbit (LEO), utilizing a modular technology that is unique in Europe. Scheduled to open in 2026, REMTECH will be equipped with the latest available technologies, including systems for vibration, shock, mechanical, thermal-vacuum, climatic, electromagnetic compatibility/electromagnetic interference (EMC/EMI), and acoustic testing. The approximately 4,000-square-meter complex will include a 1,500-square-meter specialized laboratory meeting both ISO 8 and ISO 5 cleanroom standards. The greenfield development will also feature its own solar power plant, contributing to the energy supply of the space center.
