Remote Support Services is a software development and support company that began in 1986 as a programming organization supporting a Co-Op of hospitals in Southwest Missouri. Since then, we have expanded our customer base and developed many new products at the request of our client hospitals. We work closely with customer committees to ensure that our new developments meet the current and future needs of the hospital community. We have developed HIPAA compliant systems using state of the art internet based transaction processing systems storing these transactions on remote servers. This technology allows us to provide these systems to our customers without any on site servers and software licenses. Any workstation with internet access can process these transactions. These systems meet HIPAA security requirements and all data is protected from unauthorized access and is backed up nightly. Our claims processing system is the most advanced in the industry. We provide full service network management including setting up email systems, Microsoft Exchange Servers, LANs and WANs, custom HL7 interfaces to third party products, discounted equipment, and custom programming.
