Remarkables Primary School is set amongst the most beautiful views in New Zealand with the stunning backdrop of the Remarkables Mountains and the shores of Lake Wakatipu lapping at our school's boundary. The stimulating surrounds are a wonderful activator for learning in Year 1 to Year 8, where students on a daily basis make connections to their world and their local community. Learners are engaged through rich conversations and are challenged to reach their learning goals through a variety of learning pathways. We see each learner, both young and old, as explorers! - exploring how they best learn, talking with them about their learning and ensuring they take responsibility for their learning within the classroom context and beyond. Be an explorer read, surf the internet, visit customers, enjoy arts, watch children play. do anything to prevent from becoming a prisoner of your knowledge, experience and current view of the world.
