Government of Liguria, Region of the Italian Republic with legislative and administrative powers.. The Liguria Region includes the territories of the Province of Genova, La Spezia, Savona, Imperia. The City of Genova is the capital of the region and is home to the Council and the Regional Government. The Region is in charge of economic programming, health care, land and environment regulation, development of industry and business activities, tourism, culture, employment and human resource training, social service, agricultural development.
