De gemeente Súdwest-Fryslân is per 1 januari 2011 ontstaan uit de gemeentelijke herindeling van Bolsward, Nijefurd, Sneek, Wûnseradiel en Wymbritseradiel. De gemeente telt 69 kernen, waarvan 6 van de 11 Friese Steden. Totaal bestaat de gemeente uit zo'n 82.000 inwoners. De gemeentelijke organisatie telt zo'n 900 formatieplaatsen.

Omroep Brabant is de regionale omroep voor de provincie Noord-Brabant. Er werken zo’n 250 mensen aan één en dezelfde missie: Brabanders verbinden met hun Brabant. Objectief, betrouwbaar en eigentijds. Met als resultaat dat je als Brabander goed geïnformeerd mee kunt praten en verbonden blijft met je eigen provincie. Onze pay-off ‘Het Gevoel van Hier’ sluit hier bij aan. Omroep Brabant is één van de grootste regionale omroepen van Nederland. L1 is a regional public media organization in Limburg, one of the 12 provinces in the Netherlands, serving its 1,1 million inhabitants. As a public station, L1 receives most of its budget from the provincial government. The broadcasting license is held by the Stichting Omroep Limburg, a foundation which defines program policy for the station. L1 translates these policies into programs for radio, TV, teletext, internet and new media. As a public station, L1 should reach a wide range of the Limburg population, regardless of age, gender, race etc. Currently, the L1 programs are focused on the following three areas: News, Sports and (Live) Events. These are mentioned as our three core activities.
