The members of the Flinders Quartet are committed to the development of Australian chamber music and musicians. They will perform more widely throughout Australia during 2008 and beyond. Their commitment to both the performance and commissioning of Australian works will continue, as will their love of collaborating with other fine musicians. All members of the quartet believe strongly that an active and varied musical life will enhance their artistic response as quartet players. As time outside their quartet schedule permits, they continue to work as soloists and in other chamber groups to the mutual benefit of Australian chamber music.
