reGeneration Education Information

reGeneration Education is a U.S. 501(c)3 nonprofit organization dedicated to advancing peacebuilding through innovative approaches to the education, development, and resilience of young children in crisis zones so that they can imagine and create a better future. More peaceful childhoods promote a culture of peace. At reGeneration, we believe that the best way to achieve that goal is by increasing access to trauma-informed childhood education that takes into consideration the corrosive effect of toxic stress on children’s healthy development. Children in the Middle East who would benefit the most from trauma-informed education cannot access it, and we want to change that. Since 2007, we have expanded access by investing in teachers and students on the ground. Our partner peace schools in Israel and Palestine have nurtured over twenty thousand Palestinian Arab and Jewish Israeli children and trained over twelve hundred Palestinian Arab and Jewish Israeli teachers in groundbreaking trauma-informed pedagogies.
