Refuge Recovery Centers is a Buddhist based outpatient treatment program offering treatment under the Refuge Recovery model that was developed by Buddhist Teacher and Addiction Recovery Counselor Noah Levine, MA. Through the process of his own recovery and working with other addicts for over 25 years, he has developed a recovery treatment program that highlights usefulness of meditation and Buddhist practice in the treatment of alcoholics and addicts. The program will not require that clients be Buddhist or that they solely attend Refuge Recovery meetings but we will offer these tools to all our clients. Our clinicians use trauma-informed approaches with talk therapy, cognitive behavioral therapy, psychodynamic, attachment-based, somatic therapies and Refuge Recovery models to help people regain a sense of balance and well-being.
