AEW Energie AG is an independent company of the Canton of Aargau. With its secure and climate-friendly energy supply, AEW makes a significant contribution to the attractiveness of the location and the quality of life in the region. It aims to achieve climate neutrality by 2040 at the latest. As an integrated energy service provider, AEW is involved in the production of electricity and heating/cooling as well as being a leading grid operator and supplier for its customers. For electricity production, AEW focusses on hydropower, solar and wind energy. It also provides services in grid and energy-related areas as well as in telecommunications.

The WCC is a worldwide fellowship of 350 member churches which represents more than half a billion Christians around the world. The WCC calls its member churches to seek unity, a common public witness and service to others in a world where hope and solidarity are the seeds for justice and peace. The WCC cooperates with people of all faiths seeking reconciliation with the goal of justice, peace and a more equitable world.

Insgesamt zählen 21,1 Millionen Menschen zur Evangelische Kirche in Deutschland (EKD), sie sind in ihren Kirchengemeinden zuhause. Jede Gemeinde gehört einer der 20 evangelischen Landeskirchen an, die gemeinschaftlich die EKD bilden. Rund 200 Menschen in Hannover bilden im Kirchenamt die Zentrale der EKD. Sie unterstützen den Ratsvorsitzenden, Gremien und Kommissionen, organisieren die Zusammenarbeit der 20 Landeskirchen, geben Impulse zur Weiterentwicklung und gestalten mit ihrer Öffentlichkeitsarbeit das gesellschaftliche Gesicht der evangelischen Kirche. Im EKD-Kirchenamt werden auch die internationalen Beziehungen der evangelischen Kirche verwaltet, zum Weltkirchenrat ebenso wie zu den mehr als 100 deutschsprachigen Auslandsgemeinden.
