We only purchase the best ingredients from reputable suppliers and don't use any GM ingredients in our products. Where possible we use local suppliers and tradesmen and aim to support the local communities we are in. If authentic products such as Baguettes need French flour to be used to give you the best products, then we make the effort to source them. Our finished products only travel a maximum of 25 miles once made and do not suffer from huge "food miles". We also aim to minimise waste and recycle wherever possible. We are actively reducing the amount of salt in our products whilst maintaining their unique flavour. Our fats where possible are non-hydrogenated. In all of our shops we aim to stock products for the health conscious, such as fruit, Low GI bread, smoothies and fruit juices. Sandwiches can made without butter or mayo on request. We support local charities and in particular a children's hospice near Winchester "Naomi House" www.naomihouse.org.uk
