Cleanaway Waste Management Limited is Australia’s largest, publicly listed waste management company. Sustainability Victoria closed on 30 June 2026 following the Victorian Government's response to the Independent Review of the Victorian Public Service. For more than 20 years, Sustainability Victoria worked with Victorians to reduce waste, improve recycling and support the transition to a circular, low-emissions economy. Over the last three decades Clean Up Australia Day has grown into the nation's largest community-based environmental event. Now one of the country’s most recognised and trusted environmental organisations, Clean Up Australia provides free resources and materials to communities, schools and youth groups all year round, supporting Australians everywhere clean up, fix up and conserve the environment. Today the focus is as much on preventing rubbish entering our environment as it is removing what has already accumulated. We want to lead the way in collaborating with organisations who take an innovative approach to sustainability, and to celebrate business models and systems which support a circular economy.
