Reef Platform Information

Reef is the first informative media platform designed to combat misinformation and harmful content which can be defined as any of the following: mis/disinformation, AI-generated or fabricated content, highly partisan content, or incendiary content. The platform uses unique organizational structures called 'Spheres' and an integrated machine learning model to prevent the dissemination of malicious content while providing informative content creators the spotlight unlike any other platform. When malicious content permeates onto the platform, it is swiftly isolated and removed, preventing misinformation trends. The platform limits digital demagoguery by implementing trust factoring, moderating trends with spheres, and providing users with multimodal content analysis for a host of metrics. Ultimately, Reef aims to connect informative content with interested users and foster collaborative communities around intellectual disciplines.
