Reed Memorial has been a family owned business serving Texas and surrounding states since 1897. Our story began in 1897 when Brownwood Marble & Granite Works was founded. The name has changed and new families have embraced a tradition of superior quality and workmanship and exceptional customer service. The Bennett family purchased Reed Memorial in 2014 and is proud to continue the family owned company tradition manufacturing our monuments in Brownwood, Texas, using granite primarily from Elberton, Georgia. Our artisans have over 30 years of experience designing, manufacturing and installing custom monuments, memorial benches, bronze markers, crematory memorials and civic monuments. Reed Memorial is one of the few remaining monument companies that have the ability to perform shape carving in house. Our expert craftsmanship and high quality ensure your monument will be a lasting memorial.
