The Red Pine (Pinus resinosa) is a pine tree native to north-eastern North America. It is an evergreen tree characterised by tall, straight growth, and lives in a variety of habitats. The Red Pine is self pruning: there are rarely any dead branches on the tree. The wood is strong and straight-grained - making it idealy suited for use as timber for construction. We think we have a lot in common with the tree. We're straight-up, no nonsense people; we're flexible but strong; we thrive on diversity - and we carry no dead wood.
