Started in 1999, the Davidson Institute is a 501(c)3 private operating foundation. Our mission is to recognize, nurture and support profoundly intelligent young people ages 18 and under, and to provide opportunities for them to develop their talents to make a positive difference. Profoundly gifted students are those who score in the 99.9th percentile on IQ and achievement tests.
Our staff, educators and leaders are one of our most valuable assets. They are our biggest advantage, and they are at the Davidson Institute because they want gifted young people to reach their full potential. The Davidson Institute wouldn’t function without their vision and contributions to the community.
Our team sees the educational space differently and break barriers to further the success of the underserved, profoundly gifted population. We continue to adjust and refine programs to reach more young people and families in more impactful ways.
The Davidson Institute is able to provide the strong connections it does to its families because our team is so dedicated. The programs and resources we facilitate are what make our organization such a success.
We truly want to serve the gifted population to the best of their ability. We know we can make a difference in young people’s lives.
NAGC's mission is to empower all who support children with advanced abilities in accessing equitable opportunities that develop their gifts and talents. We do this through advocacy, outreach, education, and research.
