TikiTours Sailing School teaches Canadian Yachting Association 'Learn To Cruise' (LTC) sailing courses, which are yachting courses as opposed to small-boat 'Learn To Sail' (LTS) courses. The school was founded with the concept of offering the the highest standards in sailing instruction, taught out of the finest sailing areas available in Vancouver, BC, Canada. TikiTours Sailing School's students immediately become confident and respected sailors, and move on to become some of the best on the water. 80% of our students become yacht owners within the first year, with achievements such as bringing their boats into their marinas under sail alone, long cruises, single-handed sailing and even racing their boats the next season. Our students have also reached southern oceans independently within their first year of sailing. Our training is excellent for personal development and motivation, stress relief, corporate teambuilding, or just as an inexpensive and educational vacation. Our main goal, however, is to help everyone 'live the dream', the most sought after dream - the freedom to sail the open oceans. We concentrate on applying course content to practice, whether that means day-sailing, crewing, chartering, yacht purchase, racing, or sailing around the world. TikiTours Sailing School will get you started quickly on your way. Our classes flex with weather conditions and your schedule, and most sailing days can be completed as days or evenings.
