Redbox Records Information

Redbox Records is an Electronic Dance music label - DJ & Studio / venue supplier, now based in Ireland. Redbox Records actually started out a few years back as a record shop based in Wales U.K., and was the vision and dream of label owner Paul Newhouse. The Redbox Records record shop in Wales unfortunately had to be closed due to the downturn in the vinyl sales. This did not stop the burning desire of Paul Newhouse so Paul decided to put his energy back into the name and continue with Redbox Records as the label. The aim of the new Redbox Records is to break bright new talented House, Trance, and Electronic Dance artists, DJ producers & Remixers from Ireland and beyond through quality global digital promotion and DJ support. Redbox Records with its host of Artists,DJ producers and Remixers intend to bring quality dance music to the worlds dance floors and Radio Airwaves. Redbox Records owner Paul Newhouse has spent many years in the dance music scene, starting back in 1992, when he moved from his hometown of Dublin to live in Germany at the early age of 17. Paul was blown away by their underground dance scene and spent many hours studying DJ's such as Paul Van Dyk, Roland, Tanith and Moby. He spent many years clubbing at clubs like; Tresor, The Planet, and many festivals throughout Germany. The two-year experience in Germany led him to purchase his first set of decks in 1993 at the age of 21. Since then Paul has been hooked into the dance music Industry and Redbox Records will surely bare the fruits of his years of experience. With Paul Newhouse firmly at the helm of the ship he is sure to guide the new Redbox Records to a successful future.
