Red27 Studios are an Independent Game Development company based in the UK, formed in 2007. Red27 Studios launched their first title "Awesome Soccer" in 2009 for Windows, Mac and Linux, quickly forming a loyal worldwide fan base of soccer lovers. Combining the best elements of the classic soccer titles from the past with the polish that the modern gamer demands, Awesome Soccer established itself as a great alternative to the AAA franchises. Their second title "Awesome Soccer World 2010" quickly followed, gaining critical acclaim and moving the series forward measurably. The game has currently had over 250,000 downloads and continues to remain a firm favourite in the soccer charts. Red27 Studios was the brainchild of Peter Cox, who also happened to be the designer and programmer of the Awesome Soccer series of games. As well as Awesome Soccer, he was also the creator of the very imaginatively titled "Peter Cox's Golf", which received 5 star reviews, and has also published various titles on the Amiga.
