Vik Narasimhan is Managing Partner of Red Maple Capital. He has been active in the life sciences and industrial markets for over 25 years. Prior to founding Red Maple Capital over 10 years ago, Vik had over 15 years of experience in strategy, corporate development and investment banking. Vik was a senior member of the healthcare groups at Goldman Sachs and Deutsche Bank, where he completed over $200 billion in transactions, and managed global banking coverage of the life science tools and diagnostics sectors. He was also Head of Strategy and Business Development for ThermoFisher Scientific. Vik started his business career in management consulting with McKinsey & Company. He has a PhD in Biochemistry and Molecular Biology from Cornell University, a Masters in Chemistry from the Indian Institute of Technology, and was a Damon Runyon-Walter Winchell Cancer Research Fellow at MIT and Harvard University.
