The American Red Cross prevents and alleviates human suffering in the face of emergencies by mobilizing the power of volunteers and the generosity of donors. Each day, thousands of people – people just like you – provide compassionate care to those in need. Our network of generous donors, volunteers and employees share a mission of preventing and relieving suffering, here at home and around the world. We roll up our sleeves and donate time, money and blood. We learn or teach life-saving skills so our communities can be better prepared when the need arises. We do this every day because the Red Cross is needed - every day.

Hopeful Horizons mission is to protect, treat and prevent. Our mission is inspired by the goals of providing safety, hope and healing to survivors of child abuse, domestic violence and sexual assault and to lead in ending abuse through primary prevention and education. Hopeful Horizons is the only children's advocacy, domestic violence and rape crisis center that serves Beaufort, Allendale, Colleton, Hampton and Jasper counties.

The Open Hearts Foundation empowers those who turn adversity into possibility. The Foundation accelerates purpose through its grant making and volunteerism programs curating incredible opportunities to engage hands on with philanthropic causes. The Foundation has provided more than $1,500,000.00 in its grantmaking history in support of charities throughout the United States and has inspired thousands of volunteers across the globe to do what they can to help others and find their unique purpose.
