Red Cray was originally established and has been family owned since 2003, having opened their first restaurant in Belmont, followed by the second venue, the award-winning Red Cray on Beaufort in Mt Lawley. With the increasing popularity of Red Cray on Beaufort, the Singh brothers made the tough decision to sell Red Cray in Belmont in 2016 to focus and concentrate 110% into their new venue to provide both old and new customers with efficient, friendly service and the freshest locally sourced seafood and grilled dishes that Red Cray on Beaufort has become renowned for. They believe the combination of Head Chef Wayne Champion and owner Jagdave's amazing recipes, under Gurpreet and Thomas Staples' management with a strong relationship with front of house and back of house staff has proven a success having been awarded the Gold Plate Award winner for Seafood Dining for two years running since it first opened it's doors in 2014.
