Red City Review Information

Red City Review was created to be a place where authors can receive a professional literary book review for their work at an affordable price. We love books, and we want people to learn about the amazing new titles that we are fortunate enough to read. Our staff consists of editors, English professors, librarians, and people who work at publishing companies across the nation. Whoever reviews your book here at Red City Review will read your book thoroughly, and write a 250 – 350 word review for you within one month. The review will be posted on our website, and can also be posted anywhere else you would like, including Amazon, Barnes&Noble, Goodreads, Smashwords, and more. We also put on an annual book award contest, that includes cash prizes in six different book categories. The Red City Review Book Awards offers a grand prize of $500, that also includes other great prizes that will help promote the winning book so that it receives the attention it deserves. Five first prize winners will win $125 dollars each, as well as other prizes. Everyone who enters the contest will receive a review of their book, which will be posted in the same way as all of our other reviews. We also publish a literary magazine that comes out three times a year. In January we release our contest issue, that features the winners and finalists from the previous year’s Red City Review Book Awards. This issue includes interviews with the winners, book reviews, short fiction, and helpful articles about publishing and writing. We then release a Spring/Summer issue in May, and a Fall/Winter issue in September that strictly includes short fiction from writers like you.
