Recycle I.T. USA is an electronics recycling company focused on keeping harmful waste out of landfills. We started our venture in 2011. We are proud to serve Ohio, Michigan, and Indiana. Dumping Information Technology in a landfill is no longer a responsible option; toxic levels of lead, mercury, cadmium, and other metals exist in nearly all forms of information technology equipment. Currently about 70 percent of the heavy metals, including lead, mercury and cadmium, in landfills come from electronic equipment discards. Studies suggest that as many as 100 million computers, monitors, and televisions become obsolete in the U.S. each year. Discarded computers and other consumer electronics is the fastest growing portion of our waste stream -- growing almost 3 times faster than our overall municipal waste stream.
