The Chapin School, founded in 1901, is an independent day school, grades Kindergarten through 12, dedicated to the intellectual and personal growth of young women. A rigorous liberal arts program prepares students for further academic study and encourages the development of curiosity, creativity, enthusiasm and integrity.

Westminster School enjoys a reputation as one of the finest college-preparatory schools, and certainly one of the very top small boarding schools, in the country. The challenging academic program, grounded in the liberal arts tradition, prepares students in grades 9-12 and postgraduate for academic success and the rigors of college while cultivating in them a love of learning that becomes a lifelong habit. Westminster School is a diverse, close-knit community of 89 faculty and 385 students (two-thirds boarding, one-third day students) from across the country and around the world. Nearly one third of the students receive financial aid from the more than $3.2 million awarded each year.

The Hotchkiss School is an independent boarding school located in Lakeville, Connecticut. Founded in 1891, the school provides an education of unsurpassed quality to 600 students in grades 9 through 12, and to a small number of postgraduates. Students at Hotchkiss come from across the United States and 34 foreign countries. Graduates attend many of the most selective universities and colleges. The Hotchkiss School strives to develop in students a lifelong love of learning, responsible citizenship, and personal integrity.
