recolution Information

recolution stands for timeless urban basics for everyday wear. Designed in Hamburg and mostly made in Europe, the label was founded in 2010 by school friends Jan and Robert, at a time when "slow fashion" wasn't a trend yet. Their idea: to show that good design and transparent origins go hand in hand. Materials include organic cotton, TENCEL™ Lyocell by Lenzing (made from wood), LENZING™ ECOVERO™ viscose and recycled polyester. Most products are GOTS-certified (GOTS certificate number CERES-063) or GRS-certified (GRS certificate number CERES-063). recolution is also GOTS-certified as a company (GOTS certificate number CERES-063). Production takes place in Portugal, Turkey, India and China, with partners recolution has worked with closely for many years. The team visits the factories regularly, supported by local teams and a partner agency in Asia. All orders ship plastic-free from our own warehouse in Hamburg.
