Ramax Engraving & Awards, Inc. began April 1, 1961 by Raymond and Maxine Soash (hence the name Ramax). In 1983, Ramax was purchased by their son, Stan Soash. Stan operated the business until October of 2019 when he unexpected passed away. Stan was extremely loved by his family, community and clients. In 2025 Ramax was rebranded as Recognition Avenue and is now owned and operated by Stan's daughter, Paula Smith as the 3rd generation owner. Recognition Avenue specializes in corporate gifts/awards, plaques, trophies, medals, personalized engraving, name tags/name plates, personalized glassware, and so much more. Recognition Avenue has the ability to rotary engrave, laser engrave, sublimate in full color, and sandblast glass and crystal.
